Resurrection. New Life. Sanctifying Power.

Spring. New Life. Created Glory.

How fitting it is for us to join our voices with the rest of creation who are declaring the glory of God! How much more fitting when we consider that in all of creation people are the lone candidates to receive the forgiving grace of God and the resurrection power that qualifies us to participate in the divine nature, being made like Jesus Himself. This is the hope that we at Insight have and share with the clients we are privileged to walk alongside.

Two weeks ago, the counsellors took two days to hone our counselling skills and grow as a team at the Canadian Biblical Counselling Coalition conference. What a blessing to have some time to learn and fellowship together!

Insight’s student group recently launched into the Dynamics of Biblical Change course through CCEF’s Online School of Biblical Counseling. Next week, registration opens up for the June term. Let us know if you are interested in this robust training that will further equip you as you serve the Body of Christ.

We are also deep into planning for some upcoming events: our annual Sweet & Savoury Social as well as the E4:12 Conference in the Fall.

And some really exciting news: last month we welcomed Marija to our team, and she is fitting in marvellously! Check out her bio below.

Join us for an evening of delicious hors d’oeuvres & desserts while hearing ministry updates and testimonials of what the Lord is doing through Insight Biblical Counselling. We are excited to host this event at a beautiful new venue this year; THE SHED OUT BACK located in Smithville. There is no cost to attend but RSVP’s are required as space is limited!

The E4:12 Training courses are run in collaboration with CCEF’s School of Biblical Counseling. Insight is coordinating groups of 5 or more students who are interested in pursuing biblical counselling training at a fraction of CCEF’s standard fee. A minimum of 5 students per course is required for students to receive the group rate of $125/course.

Local cohorts of students learn online & connect in person together with their online instructor. The time commitment is 6-9 hours per week and each course runs for 10 weeks.
