Individuals, Couples & Families
We know true transformation is only possible through the work of the Holy Spirit. Insight’s biblical counsellors will walk alongside clients as they seek God’s transformative work in their relationships and in their lives. Using the Bible as our guide, we seek to help our clients gain insight for living wisely for the glory of God.
Real Change
Insight offers a safe place for clients to explore their behaviours, uncover the motives that influence these responses and come to know the Lord who is active in changing and renewing their lives.
Clients can revisit the past events that are impacting life in the present in the sure hope that God will redeem these experiences for their good and His glory.
We encourage people to share how God has redeemed their experiences as they, in turn, walk alongside others.
Biblical Counselling Fees
For individuals and couples
Counselling sessions: $100 for a 1 hour session.
Cancellation of Appointments
Please give 24 hours notice
Clients who fail to give 24 hours notice for cancelling or rescheduling appointments will be charged for the missed session. This charge must be paid before or at the time of your next appointment.
Alternative Financial Arrangements
We can help even if you’re struggling financially
We understand financial constraint and that some clients/participants are unable to pay the fees. Due to the generosity of our donors, anyone in need of counselling will receive our biblical counselling services. If you are unable to pay the fees, our staff will gladly explain alternative financial arrangements.

The counsellors at Insight walk alongside clients as they seek God’s transformative work in their lives, their relationships, and in the world around them. The goal of biblical counselling is to gain insight for living wisely for the glory of God. 2 Tim. 3:15–17; 2 Pet. 1:4

Glen Slingerland
Executive Director
Glen has a Master of Arts in Biblical Counselling from Westminster Theological Seminary (Philadelphia) and a Bachelor of Education from Brock University.
Scott Knoechel
Biblical Counsellor

Lynn Murray
Biblical Counsellor
Lynn has lived in Niagara since her teens. She became a Christian in her mid thirties. Since then she has been all about learning.
Andrea Kampen
Biblical Counsellor
Andrea grew up and lives in the Burlington area. She is a mom of 4, nana of 2 and life-long student of God’s Word. Her heart’s desire is to share her love for her Lord and His Word with others in both formal and informal settings in her home, the church and community..
Karina Wierenga
Biblical Counsellor
Karina graduated from Dordt University with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication and a minor in Business, after which she completed her Master of Arts in Biblical Counselling at Westminster Theological Seminary.
Allison Marr
Biblical Counsellor
After completing high school Allison was unsure of what to do with her life, but her deep love of talking with and listening to people as well as her passion for her local church lead her to get involved with volunteer work at her church-anything from helping in the nursery on a Sunday morning, to leading a Life group, leading Bible studies, and serving on a church board.
Elaina Budimlic
Biblical Counsellor
Elaina grew up on the Pacific coast in BC, surrounded by the natural beauties of God’s creation in the mountains, forest, and ocean. She currently resides in Cambridge ON, with her husband, Josh, and close to their friends and family.

Gail graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and minors in English and Elementary Education.
Valerie Hildebrand
Administrative Assistant
Valerie has worked in some form of administration for many years, acquiring many skills and experiences that has brought her to where she is today at Insight Biblical Counselling.
Marija Young
Development Director
Marija has lived on a family farm in the Niagara Region for most of her life, along with her two boys. Having worked in the construction industry for over 26 years, Marija thought it was time to follow her heart and passion for helping people.
